Sales Resume at The Terraces at The Grove Resort

Orlando Condo Hotel, Prices Start in Low $200s

June 16, 2020

Joel Greene here from Condo Hotel Center.

I hope this note finds you doing well. Here in Florida we are seeing some positive signs of businesses reopening and life resuming, albeit with changes.

Last week Universal Studios and Legoland Florida reopened. Walt Disney World’s parks, SeaWorld, Busch Gardens and their respective water parks will start reopening next week with staggered dates.

Although the parks have suspended parades, meet-and-greets, fireworks and other events that attract crowds, it’s still encouraging to see them open their doors and resume operations.

Back in February, I told you about a to-be-built condo hotel in Orlando near Disney. Pre-construction sales were off to a good start when COVID-19 suddenly made its debut in Florida, forcing the developers to put everything on hold.

Today, I’m happy to announce that the property is now back on the market. Sales have just resumed and remain at first-tier, pre-construction levels. If you’ve ever considered a second home amid Orlando’s amazing theme parks, one that’s surprisingly affordable and comes with a rental program to offset the costs, read on for details.

The Terraces at The Grove
The Terraces at The Grove will be a condo hotel minutes from Disney World.

Ideal for Small Families

The Terraces at The Grove Resort, located just 10 minutes from the Walt Disney World entrance, will be the newest addition to the very popular Grove Resort & Waterpark. It will consist of studio units starting under $200,000 and one-bedroom units starting at $229,000. And that includes all furnishings!

Additionally, the developer is offering to pay all HOA costs for 12 months for buyers who purchase a unit in June, which is a nice bonus.

With very few exceptions, most vacation properties in Orlando have 2, 3, 4 and even as many as 10 bedrooms to cater to vacationing families. And prices typically start at $300,000+. The size and affordability of The Terraces makes them uniquely appealing to singles, couples and small families.

Double the Amenities

The Terraces will have a full complement of attractive amenities:

  • Pool with private cabanas
  • Poolside bar
  • Fully-equipped gym
  • Grab & Go market
  • Lounge/bar
Owners can enjoy the onsite amenities at The Terraces as well as those at the nearby Grove Resort.

Additionally, residents of the Terraces will have access to all of The Grove Resort’s amenities nearby including:

  • 3 restaurants
  • 3 pools
  • Full-service spa
  • Arcade
  • Fitness center

The Spring Grill at The Grove Resort offers a relaxed setting to grab a bite.

Owners and guests at The Terraces will also have access to The Grove Resort’s $20 million waterpark, which includes:

  • Wave simulator for surfing
  • Lagoon-style pool with beach entry
  • Water slides
  • Kiddie pool
  • Lazy river with waterfalls
  • 4,000 sq. ft. bar and grill
The Grove Resort’s $20 million waterpark is one of the biggest in the state.

The Onsite Rental Program

Because The Terraces will be a condo hotel, owners will be able to use their vacation home when they want and place it in The Grove Resort’s hotel rental program when they’re not there. The rent revenue it generates will help offset the costs of ownership.

Terraces at The Grove
The condo hotel units will be delivered fully furnished, ready for occupancy.

The Terraces will only have 136 condo hotel units: 80 studios and 56 one-bedrooms. Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin by the end of 2020 and to be completed by summer of 2022.
