Migrate to a Warmer Climate
As I mentioned at the top, you can see humpback whales in the Dominican Republic. Every year 2,000 to 3,000 humpback whales migrate from the cold polar regions of the North Atlantic to the warm Dominican Republic waters to mate, give birth and nurse their young. It’s a trip that takes them months to undertake and is one of nature’s most spectacular annual events.
