Paramount Miami Worldcenter
Part of Miami’s Newest Master-Planned Community
November 24, 2014
Joel Greene here from Condo Hotel Center. Today’s featured property is in downtown Miami. But this isn’t just any old property. In fact, it’s one I’ve been hearing about for the past two years. It’s been written about in the press, debated in city planning board meetings and gossiped about by locals. A lot.
Why is it such a big deal? Because it’s a BIG deal. HUGE! I’m talking 10 city blocks huge. Who knew downtown Miami even had 10 undeveloped city blocks!
This development will combine retail, hospitality and residential space. (Of course, I’ll only be offering the residential space.) It will be one of the largest private master-planned projects in the U.S.
After much anticipation, the light on this Miami project has finally turned green. All systems are go. The wheels are officially in motion. Read on for the exciting details about Miami’s next big thing!
There’s a lot to tell about this property, and I’d like to give you the lay of the land before providing the details on the condo residences. In total Miami Worldcenter will span 28 acres.
One of its key components will be the Mall at Miami Worldcenter. It will feature three levels and 765,000 square feet of best-in-class retail, destination dining, and enticing entertainment. The project will be anchored by a 120,000-square-foot Bloomingdale’s and a 195,000-square-foot Macy’s.
Complementing the mall will be the 7th Street Promenade. A 250,000 square foot shopping pedestrian-only thoroughfare, it will run east-west through Miami Worldcenter. It will be anchored by the new American Airlines Arena and waterfront on the east.
Inspired by the world’s great pedestrian streets, the 7th Street Promenade will have European-style outdoor cafés, bars, restaurants, and boutique retail shops.
Miami Worldcenter will also be home to the new Marriott Marquis World Convention Center Hotel, featuring 1,800 rooms, 600,000 square feet of convention space, and an 80,000-square-foot outdoor event deck.
Paramount Miami Worldcenter
Now that you know a bit about the Worldcenter development at large (very large!), let me shift gears and tell you about the residential component.
Paramount Miami Worldcenter will be a 55-story tower with 470 condo residences. It will rise 738 feet in the air. The developers had to get their plans approved by the FAA .
Each floor will only have 12 condos, and they’ll be located from levels 10-54. What’s going to be on the other floors you ask? Everything you can imagine!
While the details are still being worked out, I can tell you the ninth floor will be nothing but amenities. In fact, they will span eight acres atop the mall. They’ll include entertainment venues, a conservatory, a recreation lounge and an outdoor lounge.
For sports enthusiasts, Paramount Miami Worldcenter will have a state-of-the-art fitness center, a boxing studio and an aerobics area.
A full-service spa will include treatment rooms, a hair/nail bar and outdoor bath gardens. Kids will enjoy a play room, video game room and social lounge with pool tables.
Feel like pursuing that music career you always dreamed of? Then head over to the Paramount’s recording studio and jam room supplied with musical instruments.
The Roof Deck provides a whole additional set of resort style amenities:
- Swimming pool
- Floating cabanas
- Floating island pools
- Sky villas
- Urban park
- Walking Paths
- Seating garden
- Picnic/BBQ Areas
The Yacht Skyview Deck, located at the very top of the Paramount tower on the 55th floor, offers a four-level area with a skyview lounge, a pool and a yoga deck.
On the third floor, residents will have private direct access into The Mall at Miami Worldcenter.
The services are equally impressive: 24-hour room service, 24-hour security, multi-lingual concierge, valet and doormen, pool-side services, maid service and beach shuttle service.
The residential condos at Paramount Miami Worldcenter will be as elegant as their surroundings.
- Private elevator access with private foyers
- 10-foot ceilings in all living spaces
- Outdoor living rooms
- Large entertainment space
- Porcelain tiles throughout
- Full-size laundry room
- Lock-out studio (in 3 bedroom residences)
- Designer European kitchens
- Italian cabinetry
- Wolf & Subzero appliances
The master baths will have rain showers and spa tubs. That’s all just for starters. More details on the condos will be available in the next few weeks.
Location, A Dynamic Hub
Located in the core of downtown Miami, Miami Worldcenter is situated immediately north of the Central Business District and is surrounded by world-class amenities. It boasts convenient access to public transportation and also has easy access to I-95 and I-395. Miami International Airport is less than five miles away and the Port of Miami, where the cruise ships dock, is equally close.
Paramount Miami Worldcenter will be just an elevator or quick car ride away from a concentration of art, culture, and entertainment locales including:
- The Mall at Miami Worldcenter
- American Airlines Arena, home of the Miami Heat
- Perez Art Museum
- Frost Museum of Science
- Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts
- Bayside Marketplace
- Museum Park
- Bayfront Park & Amphitheater
I could elaborate on each of the attractions above because they all have so much to offer. Suffice to say, at Paramount Miami Worldcenter, you will never be at a loss for something to do or somewhere to go.
Construction on Paramount Miami Worldcenter is tentatively scheduled to begin May 2015. The estimated completion date is May 2018.
The condos have just been released for sale and can be reserved now at preconstruction prices. Choose from one-, two- and three-bedroom units. Sizes range from 1,294 sq. ft. to 2,376 sq. ft. Prices start at $690,000 and go up to $1,400,000.
I have plenty more details about Paramount Miami Worldcenter that I’d love to share with you. They’re in my data sheet, which also includes a link to a stunning e-brochure. Just provide your name and contact information per the developer’s requirements at the link below to receive it.
The Evolution of Miami
I’ve lived in the Miami area nearly my whole life and yet I am amazed at how this world-class city continues to evolve and grow. Consider these facts about the city:
- 2.6 million residents
- 14 million visitors per year
- 12.5 million hotel rooms booked each year
- 1,000+ headquarters of multi-national corporations
- 100+ financial institutions, the largest concentration of banks south of NYC
- 75 foreign consulates and trade offices
- Miami International Airport serves 39.5 million passengers per year, the 2nd largest international gateway in the U.S. next to JFK Airport in NYC
- Port of Miami services 5 million passengers a year, making it the #1 cruise terminal in the world
- In 2016 All Aboard Florida will link Orlando and Miami by high-speed train, just 3 hours from Disney World to the door of Miami Worldcenter
I could go on, but I think you get the idea: Miami is an exciting, thriving, world-class city that just keeps getting better.
If you’d like to hear more about Paramount Miami Worldcenter, again I encourage you to request the data sheet, which has plenty of details and a link to a beautiful e-brochure with photos.
Or, if you’d like to see the property’s site or any other available condo or condo hotel properties in South Florida (where it’s currently sunny and 80-degrees, fyi), it’d be my pleasure to show you around. I hope you’ll give me a call.
Have a great day!
