Hello, Joel Greene here from Condo Hotel Center.  I have an interesting opportunity for you today.  It’s an auction of luxurious, new condos at a resort-style development in beautiful Fort  Myers, Florida.  Auctions aren’t something we usually promote.  But this one is too good to ignore.

Oasis is located in a gated community and includes two 32-story residential towers and a total of 440 condos.  Note these are traditional condos, not condo hotel units.  Of the 440 condos, 125 condos located in the first tower are what will be available in the auction to be held November 20, 2010.

These 125 units are brand new, never lived in, waterfront condos expected to be auctioned off at prices discounted up to 60% of their original price!  However, you may be able to do even better.  At least 40 of the units will be sold at “absolute auction.”  That means the condos will go to the highest bidders regardless of price, without minimum bid or reserve requirements.

Incredible Savings and Here’s Why

Construction on Oasis was begun in 2005. By April 2005 the first tower was completely sold out and the second one was beginning to sell.

Construction on both towers was completed in 2008. But by then, the real estate market had crashed, and most buyers were unwilling or unable to close on their purchases. The property was eventually foreclosed on and the new owners picked up the property in a foreclosure auction earlier this year. Now they’re auctioning off 125 of the condos.

The developer’s current asking prices for Oasis condos now start in the $140,000s and go up to the $310,000s. These prices are amazing when you compare them with the prices when the property was first offered in 2005-2008.


In the auction, 40 condos well be sold to the highest bidder, no minimum, regardless of price.

Units that were under contract at over $450 per sq. ft. and cost over $320 per sq. ft. to build when construction was completed in 2008, are now discounted to an average asking price of $160 per sq. ft. Crazy, isn’t it?

But what’s even more crazy is that you could get a condo for a lot less if you participate in the auction. Remember, there are 40 condos to be sold at “absolute auction,” going to the highest bidders regardless of price, without minimum bid or reserve requirements.

The auction will be conducted by Fisher Auction, with over 38 years of experience in the real estate auction industry and a prominent leader in condo sales.

It will be held this Nov. 20, 2010 at 10 a.m. in the Harborside Convention Center, Fort Myers, Florida. You do not need to be present to bid. Online and telephone bidding will be accepted to accommodate national and international buyers.

However, to participate in the auction, you will need to complete several forms in advance. Upon request, we will send you the auction forms along with detailed instructions on how to proceed.
