Orlando Townhomes with Optional Rental Program

When Jackie and I visit our girls at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, we’re always looking for a fun family activity. Yes, we love the theme parks, as do the 60 million tourists who come each year to see Disney World, Universal Studios, SeaWorld and more. But we’ve also discovered some lesser-known attractions that also offer a great way to spend the day or evening.
Icon Park Orlando is one of those places. It has 40 different restaurants and premium factory outlets. But the most iconic part of Icon Park is The Wheel, which, at 400 feet, is the tallest observation wheel on the East Coast. It offers 360-degree views of the city. And so does the new Orlando StarFlyer, the world’s tallest swing ride, standing at 450 feet.
Moving up and down and rotating around the giant tower at speeds of up to 60 mph, you can take in amazing views of International Drive or just hang on for dear life and scream (like me).

Townhomes Near Theme Parks
Magic Village by Pininfarina will be a resort-style development in Kissimmee (Orlando, FL) with a contemporary Italian design. It will consist of 459 townhomes surrounding six lakes in Kissimmee (Orlando), Florida.
Magic Village will be part of a larger community called Magic Place by Pininfarina that will include 300,000 sq. ft. of retail stores, restaurants, entertainment, a luxury hotel and a 300-unit apartment building.
Resort-like Amenities
A gated community, Magic Village will have a clubhouse with an outdoor heated pool, sauna and fitness center. There will also be a restaurant, multi-purpose sports court, tennis court, kids’ room and meeting space.
The resort will have a 24-hour front desk, personalized concierge services and a shuttle to area theme parks.
Townhome Features
Recognized internationally for brands such as Ferrari and Rolls-Royce, the Italian design firm Pininfarina was widely considered the natural choice to design this luxury development.
The townhomes will be built in four phases between 2020 and 2022. They’ll come in three- and four-bedroom styles.
They’ll have bright kitchens, with a pantry, breakfast nook, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The design is contemporary and open concept.
Each of the townhomes will have outdoor living rooms. You can upgrade the space by adding an optional a summer kitchen and/or outdoor spa.
Onsite Rental Program
Magic Village has no minimum or maximum usage restrictions. Use your townhome one week a year or stay there year-round. However, because the property is considered a “vacation home,” you cannot apply for a homestead tax exemption.
When you’re not using your townhome, place it in the onsite rental program to receive rent revenue. The program will be managed by Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.
Or, if you prefer, you can rent the home out yourself via Airbnb, VRBO or some other rental platform. However, you will be charged a resort fee of $100 per day for the common areas and services provided.

Early Pricing
The Magic Village townhomes come in two styles. They’re both two stories and 2,195 – 2,355 square feet, but one has 3 bedrooms/3.5 baths and the other has 4 bedrooms/4.5 baths.
First Phase prices range from $503,000 to $580,000. There’s also an optional furniture package for $60,000 and a few other optional upgrades. The furniture package is required if you want your townhome rented out by management.

Gender Reveal
No, Jackie and I are not having a baby. That ship has sailed. But have you seen some of the gender-reveal videos that have recently become so popular? They’re the creative ways that parents-to-be tell their friends and family whether they’re expecting a boy or a girl.
Remember the 400-foot Orlando Wheel I mentioned at the top? They’ve just begun offering their version of a gender reveal. Gather your friends and family on the central lawn in front of the Wheel. The Wheel will offer a colorful light show that finally ends with all pink or all blue, revealing the baby’s gender. Yay!
And in a few years, when that baby is begging you to “Take me to Disney World,” you can bring the whole fam down to Orlando to stay at your personal townhome at Magic City by Pininfarina!
