Luxury Condos at Boca West Country Club

If you’re a golfer, you’ve probably heard of Boca West Country Club in Boca Raton, Florida. It’s a 1,400 acre tropical paradise with four celebrated golf courses, world-class tennis and a magnificent clubhouse and spa. Frankly, it doesn’t get any better than this.
In 2007 the club decided to sell off a seven-acre parcel to build a residential development inside the sprawling and prestigious community. Unfortunately, with the housing bust in full swing and the Great Recession about to start, getting construction financing for the project proved impossible.
So the plans fell by the wayside, that is, until last year, when renowned developer Richard Siemens called Boca West President Jay DiPietro and told him he wanted to buy the site if it was still available. His plan was to build a luxurious condominium development. DePietro and the club liked the plans Siemens outlined and a deal was struck.
Siemens will close on the land purchase this year. But already sales of the condo project are underway. And that brings me to today’s featured property. Read on for details.
Country Club Living
Akoya at Boca West will consist of three connected buildings: a 10-story building in the middle and two shorter 9-story buildings on either end. Contemporary in design, the residences will overlook the country club’s fairway and lake.
In total, Akoya will have just 120 condos. Let me say right up front, prices aren’t for the faint of heart. They range from $1,150,000 to more than $2 million, but if you’re someone who has ever dreamed of living in a gorgeous golf resort, this is an exceptional opportunity.
Groundbreaking on Akoya at Boca West should occur by early fall 2014 with the opening tentatively planned for late 2015. While the country club has 3,400 homes on its 1,400 acres, this is the first new residential development inside Boca West in two decades.

Akoya buyers will be required to pay a one-time fee (per family) of $70,000 for a social membership at Boca West. Additionally, there are annual social membership dues of $10,560.

Beautiful Boca Raton
Akoya is located in the heart of Boca Raton. It sits between Yamato and Glades Roads next to Florida’s Turnpike with easy access to I-95 and The Sawgrass Expressway. Residents will find an abundance of quality shopping and dining venues nearby at Mizner Park and the Town Center Mall.
