Ocean Club is a to-be-built condo hotel located in Treasure Island directly on the crystal white sands of the Gulf of Mexico. A six-story building, it will have 63 exquisitely designed resort residences. This boutique-sized property is ideal for people who appreciate a tranquil beachfront location but still wish to have proximity to many shopping, dining and entertainment options.

As a condo hotel, owners will have an opportunity to earn revenue that offsets their costs. They can use their residence whenever they’d like and place it into the onsite rental program or rent it out on their own when they’re not there. They also have the option of participating in a leaseback program offering guaranteed rates of return for the first two years of ownership.

The developer of Ocean Club is Lumar Homes along with Sunwest Construction, which combined have completed well over 2,000 units in the St. Petersburg/Clearwater Area and in Canada.  

Lumar Homes is the same company that developed the nearby Avalon Clearwater Beach, another luxury condo hotel, now sold out.

The main attraction of the Ocean Club will be its spectacular 300 feet of beach right outside its door. But the property will also feature many luxury amenities:

For furniture, owners will have the option to purchase either a contemporary or traditional package. A furniture package is mandatory to participate in the leaseback program. Or owners can furnish their home any way they’d like if they’re not interested in leasing back their unit.

Treasure Island is located on Florida’s Gulf coast. It has 3.5 miles of white sandy beach, ideal forswimming, shelling, sunning, snorkeling, parasailing and more. A newly constructed, family-friendly, mile-plus boardwalk along the beach was recently added and leads to shops and a beachfront restaurant.

Ocean Club’s location is approximately one mile from Johns’ Pass Village. Quaint and scenic, it has 100+ shops and restaurants as well as a marina where you’ll find the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing. 

Treasure Island is a short drive from downtown St. Petersburg and Tampa, both of which have an abundance of beaches, shops, restaurants, bars and museums. And it’s just over an hour from Orlando with its many world-class attractions.

Construction on Ocean Club is expected to begin the summer of 2021 and to be move-in ready by the end of 2022.

Available are two-bedroom, two-bath condo hotel units with direct water views. Prices start at $796,900 (plus optional $15,000 furnishings package). These are pre-construction prices that will increase 10% after the first 20 units have been reserved.

The developer is allowing buyers the option to reserve a unit and then assign their contract (resell their unit) prior to closing, which offers the potential to profit from appreciation during Ocean Club’s construction.
