A Contemporary Design That Lives Up to Its Name
The Diamond will be a five-star property located at the West Gate of Dubai Sports City within Dubailand, the three-billion square foot "multi-world" entertainment complex currently being developed.

Featuring a contemporary design, the building's faceted corners will be constructed completely of glass to reflect the sunlight, just like a cut diamond.

Five-star Amenities and Services
This condo hotel is no diamond in the rough. The Diamond will offer every upscale luxury you could imagine and would expect to find in a first-class U.S. hotel. It will have 14 stories containing 114 fully-furnished studios and one- and two-bedroom condo hotel units. Most units will include balconies offering golf or park views. Other amenities and services are:

Dubai Sports City - Sports, Sports, and More Sports
The Diamond will be located in Dubai Sports City. What is Dubai Sports City? Well let's just say that if ESPN were to design its dream city, this would be it.

It will soon be the largest sports destination in the world. Currently under construction with an expected completion date of 2011, the 500 million square foot development will include:

  • 60,000 capacity stadium for football, rugby, track and field events
  • 25,000 capacity cricket stadium
  • 10,000 capacity multipurpose stadium
  • 5,000 capacity hockey stadium
  • Manchester United Soccer School
  • ICC Global Cricket Academy
  • Butch Harmon School of Golf
  • Ernie Els 18 hole International Championship Golf Course

Dubai Sports City will be just one component of the larger Sports and Outdoor World, which will cover approximately 354 million square feet and will contain four other major projects: 1) Dubai Autodrome and Business Park, 2) Extreme Sports World, 3) Golf World, and 4) The Plantation Equestrian & Polo Club. Like I said - sports, sports, and more sports!

So how does this all relate to The Diamond? That's easy. As one of only a handful of planned hotels, The Diamond expects to achieve high occupancy rates from athletes, team staff, training camps and spectators who will visit Dubai Sports City year-round.

It will also benefit from vacationers visiting Dubailand's many theme parks and Dubai's beaches which are just a 15-minute drive from the condo hotel.

An Experienced Developer
The developer of The Diamond is First Homes Worldwide, a UK company with more than 20 years in successful residential, commercial and resort property development in Europe and Asia.

It is marketing The Diamond primarily as an investment opportunity for those people who wish to participate in the dynamic growth of Dubai and especially Dubai Sports City. That is, most people who buy a condo hotel unit will likely place it into the rental program for most, if not all, of the year.

First-tier Prices
Construction on The Diamond will begin November 2006 and is scheduled to be complete by spring 2008. As this property has just been released, prices are at first-tier level and start at $186,436.
