A 70-room condo hotel directly across from the beach, 6080 Collins Avenue Beach House will be a $30 million development. It will feature Streamline Moderne architecture, a late style of Art Deco design.

The location for 6080 Collins Avenue Beach House is on one of the last vacant pieces of land in Mid-Beach, which is set mid-way between exciting South Beach and the posh community of Bal Harbour. It is the first new condo hotel to be offered on Miami Beach in almost two years.


6080 Collins Avenue Beach House will be a low-rise building just six stories tall. It will have three ground-level lanai units on the east side. The rest of the condo hotel units will be located on the third floor, and the second floor will be parking.

Mid-Beach, where 6080 Collins Avenue Beach House is to be located, spans Collins Avenue from 23rd Street to 63rd Street. It is removed from the crowds on Ocean Drive crowds in South Beach but still close to all of Miami’s and Miami Beach’s main attractions. It is also directly across the street from the beach.

The past 18 months have seen this area gain activity. New hotels, restaurants and lounges have opened. And more are on the way to complement the community’s beautiful beaches, green parks, golf courses and marinas.

Within 10-15 minutes in any direction is the action on South Beach and the convention center, the upscale Shoppes of Bal Harbour and Lincoln Road, downtown Miami and the New World Symphony. Also convenient are the Port of Miami and the Miami International Airport.

Because 6080 Collins Avenue Beach House will be a condo hotel, owners will have an opportunity to participate in a professionally-managed rental program. Revenue generated could help offset the costs of ownership. One-bedroom units will likely rent for between $160 and $350 per night, depending on the season.

Owners who place their unit in the rental program will be restricted to 30 days usage per year, with no more than seven days in a row of occupation. Participating in the rental program is entirely optional.


The hotel will be managed by Eskape Collection, experts in the hotel and serviced apartment sector and with several other Miami Beach hotels under its operation.

Construction is expected to begin late summer 2015 with an approximate 10-month period to complete construction. The condo hotel should be open by the third quarter of 2016.


The fully furnished units will be studios, one-bedrooms, and one-bedroom corner units. They’ll range in size from 365 square feet to 553 square feet. They range in price from $262,600 to $402,850 and can be reserved now with a 10% deposit.
