Miami’s prestigious Brickell Avenue area will soon have a new addition. SLS LUX will be a 57-story tower with a total of 450 luxury condominiums including 12 penthouse residences on the top three floors.
Additionally, the property will include 84 designer suites, which are essentially condo hotel units. Owners will have the option of placing their suite in the hotel’s rental program and receiving revenue to offset their costs of ownership.
SLS LUX will have an extensive list of luxury features. The 9th floor amenities deck will include the following:

- 75-foot lap pool and a separate 112-foot beach entry pool
- Poolside cabanas and shaded lounge areas

- Multi-use sports center with courts for tennis, basketball, volleyball, etc.
- Rock climbing wall
- Circuit training with fitness stations
- Outdoor area for yoga classes
- Outdoor theater
- Wellness center with cardio and weight training equipment
- Ciel Spa with treatment rooms and massage therapists
- Children’s indoor and outdoor play areas with professional staff on hand
- Club room lounge with flat-screen TVs and gourmet kitchen
Additionally, SLS LUX will have a 44th and 45th floor sky lounge with outside space that includes fire pits and offers breathtaking views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline. The two-story indoor lounge and recreation area will have a wine cellar, billiards and poker table. Finally, on the 57th floor will be a rooftop pool and sundeck also overlooking the city skyline and Biscayne Bay.
Living at SLS LUX will be comparable to living at a luxury resort. In addition to the building’s amenities will be a full complement of services including concierge, in-room dining, valet parking and 24-hour security.
Residents of SLS LUX will also have VIP access to South Beach’s hottest beach club, Hyde Beach at the SLS Hotel South Beach, with lounges, cabanas, and seaside snack and beverage service.
The Brickell area is Miami’s most sophisticated downtown neighborhood, known for its fine dining, shopping and entertainment venues. It includes the American Airlines Arena, home of the Miami Heat, and the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. The quaint but trendy Mary Brickell Village nearby also has loads of exclusive shops and diverse restaurants.
Just a few blocks away will soon be Brickell City Centre, a $1.05 billion mixed-use project expected to be complete by the end of 2014. It encompasses over 520,000 square feet of dining, entertainment and shopping space.
SLS LUX is the latest evolution of the SLS Hotels and Residences brand and will be the third SLS-branded property in South Florida. It is being developed by The Related Group, based in Miami and one of the nation’s leading condo developers.
The architect for SLS LUX is the world-renowned firm Arquitectonica and the interior design for SLS LUX is being handled by the Canadian interior design duo George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg.
Construction on SLS LUX is scheduled to begin in February 2015 and should be complete by October 2017. However, residences can be reserved now with a 10% deposit at the lowest pre-construction prices.
Choose from one-, two- and three-bedroom condos that range in size from 945 sq. ft. to 1,770 sq. ft. Prices range from $510,000 to $980,000. Sizes and prices for the 84 condo-hotel designer suites and the penthouse units available upon request.
