Donald Trump has once again extended the reach of his global real estate empire to a country where first-class real estate and an incredible vacation lifestyle meet.  The world-renowned real estate developer has announced a partnership that will produce a golf and residential complex on the northern coast of Puerto Rico. The total cost of the project - over $600 million!

The Trump International Golf Club Puerto Rico is a planned development between Trump and Puerto Rican construction company Empresas Diaz Inc. The project will consist of 500 villas and condo hotels on 1,000 acres between the Atlantic coast and the Puerto Rico’s tropical rain forest.

Trump’s projections for the property were proven true as the PGA released the Puerto Rico Open’s attendance figures earlier this month. According to the PGA, over 75,000 people attended the Puerto Rico Open at Trump International Golf Club. This surpasses all of the event’s attendance predictions. Those at the Puerto Rico Open had an opportunity to see first-hand the recently completed model residences that were completed in time for the event.

During the PGA Tour event, spectators experienced the level of luxury Trump International Golf Club will offer. Even Donald Trump himself was uber impressed by the property, stating “The first residences look excellent and provide a glimpse to what is to be expected at this resort community. I have never had a project with so much ocean-front…no matter where you look, there are beautiful water views.”

''We're building something that's going to be known all over the world,'' Trump said at a recent news conference. The statement solidified his commitment to building world-class real estate in the U.S. Territory.

The property will cover over 1,000 acres in Rio Grande and will consist of 500 residences built in 10 phases by the time construction is done. Phase I will include 56 breath-taking ‘founder’ residences which will come with a price tag of $1.4 million. Owners of these initial units will be given membership into the Founders Club – an exclusive resident community offering perk preferred tee times, access to a private jet, helicopter and limo services.

Later phases in the property will include breathtaking houses with negative-edge pools, 10-foot ceilings, five-fixture bathrooms and plenty of other amenities that you’d expect from the Trump organization. Outside the residences, owners will have views of the El Yunque Rainforest and the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean.

Eric Trump fortified Trump’s commitment to residents and their visitors calling it a “Trump Standard.”

Trump International Golf Club Puerto Rico will also feature a wide variety of residences including condos and estate homes starting at $600,000 and going up to $5 million.
