Bella Maya Resort is a luxury condo hotel of four-star quality located on six acres of lushly landscaped beach and lagoon-front land. It has over 400 feet of private beachfront on the Placencia Peninsula.

Designed to look like a Caribbean village, Bella Maya will consist of eight buildings, two and three stories high, totaling 60 luxuriously appointed two-bedroom units.

Bella Maya Resort has its own fine dining restaurant, offering indoor and outdoor seating.

Located in Placencia, Belize, Bella Maya is just 15 minutes away from Placencia Airport. Additionally, Belize City International Airport is just a short flight away from many major airports across the United States. Direct flights are also available from Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras and Costa Rica, and flights from the UK and Europe are expected to start soon.

One of the most appealing aspects of Placencia is its proximity to many beautiful islands just off its coast. Within Placencia Village, visitors can find professional licensed tour guides. There are also several dive and snorkel shops for equipment rental along the peninsula. Inland attractions such as the Cockscomb Basin, Victoria Peak, Monkey River, Red Bank, and ancient Maya ruins are all within easy reach.

Bella Maya Resort offers two types of ownership opportunities. One is whole ownership with prices starting in the low $400,000s. Owners can use their condo whenever they want and place it in the rental program when they’re not there, sharing in the revenue it generates. The other is fractional ownership in which the owner is entitled to one month of usage per year with prices starting at $38,750. Bella Maya Resort is expected to open in summer 2007.
