The pictures above show the Phase III expansion at Atlantis Resort, Paradise Island. As you can see, The Residences at Atlantis condominium hotel tower is the closest structure to the beach. (15 yards). The builders are now (Feb. 2007) on the 12th floor of construction and should be topping off in approximately nine to ten weeks. (a floor per week).

The fast river at Aquaventure is already filled with water and is being tested before the grand opening. Every aspect of Atlantis involves a sense of discovery and has been designed to ignite one's imagination. Aquaventure takes known water-based attractions such as slides, river rapids, waterfalls and water holes, and adds first-of-its-kind effects and technology.

Aquaventure guests will also have access to two spectacular fresh-water pools --The Grotto Pool and The Baths, containing nearly 750,000 gallons of water and decorated with hieroglyphic columns and rockwork structures.
