Although the resort will be virtually car free, all properties will have allocated parking spaces. Vaporettos will ferry residents around the marina, Venice-style, while golf buggies will be the only motorized transport throughout the rest of the development.

Envisioned as a world class retreat, Cap Cana will celebrate the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the Caribbean with the added style of famous European resort areas like St Tropez and Marbella. Cap Cana is conveniently located just 10 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport.

Available at pre-construction prices are one-, two- and three-bedroom condo hotel units. They range in size from 850 square feet to 5,500 square feet and will be delivered fully furnished. Construction began in fall 2006 and is expected to be complete by mid-2009.

The Dominican Republic is still very competitively priced compared with many Caribbean islands and U.S. resorts. And as a new development, all investors at Cap Cana benefit from 10 years of tax-free status as provided by the Dominican Republic government. Prices for the condo hotel units range from $640,000 to $1,850,000 (subject to change without notice).
