The Wilderness in the Ozarks will be the largest resort of its kind in southwestern Missouri. This rustic, family-oriented resort will be located on 120 acres near Hollister, Missouri in the scenic Ozark mountains.
The Wilderness in the Ozarks will offer something for everyone from its 75,000  square foot indoor water park to “The District,” which will include retail stores, restaurants, and a large ultra-modern multiplex cinema/bowling entertainment center.
Two gigantic water parks will form the centerpiece of the Wilderness in the Ozarks. The outdoor water park will spread across four acres and create a scenic view for each of the resort's 400 rooms.
The huge indoor waterpark will feature thrill rides like Surf Rider and Tornado, a wave pool, four large family tube rides, spray features and a variety of play areas to keep kids of all ages entertained. It's “foil-tec” roof will allow you to suntan by the pool even in the middle of winter!
Each of the Wilderness's condos will be connected to the others and to the indoor waterpark via a common corridor. Beautifully decorated in warm, rich hues, each condo will be fully furnished with all appliances, electronics, kitchen items and bedding as well as a fireplace and DVD player for your enjoyment.
In addition to its water parks, the Wilderness in the Ozarks will offer a full complement of exciting amenities:

Also located nearby are three distinct wineries, 52 state-of-the-art theaters and three giant outlet malls with over 200 stores!
Just south of Branson, Missouri, Wilderness in the Ozarks is approximately 40 miles from the Springfield/Branson National Airport and just six miles from the Branson Regional Airport.
Prices range from the upper $100,000's for a studio suite to the $500,000's for a two bedroom suite (one bedroom suites also available.) Construction began in February 2008 and will be completed in late 2009.
