It's not every day that two tennis greats decide to put their competitive spirit and winning style into a real estate project, but that's the case with the Fairmont Tamarack. Husband and wife, Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf, through their company Agassi Graf Development LLC, are partnering with Miami-based Bayview Financial LP(R), to develop a luxury mountain condo hotel.

The Fairmont Tamarack will be located in the Payette River Mountains in Donnelly, Idaho, approximately two hours from Boise. It will be built on the grounds of the Tamarack Resort, which encompasses 2,100 acres, including its own ski mountain.

Tamarack's mountain has a 2,800-ft. vertical drop with seven lifts and spread across 840 acres.

Development began in 2004, and the resort now has a combination of estate homes, condos, cottages, townhomes and chalets. It also has an impressive list of features and amenities:

• Tamarack's mountain has 840 acres of ski runs.
• Lake Cascade offers 22 miles of water sports fun and great fishing.
• Osprey Meadow is a Robert Trent Jones II 18-hole championship golf course.
• The International Mountain Bicycling Association has built 60 miles of hiking and mountain biking trails.
• Sante Spa offers a full complement of therapies and treatments.
• Morels is a fine-dining restaurant, one of several eating establishments on site.

The Fairmont Tamarack will be a four-season resort offering every conceivable luxury and activity.

The Fairmont Tamarack will be a five-star condo hotel offering a charming form of rustic elegance and capitalizing on the stunning natural beauty of the area. It will feature all the luxuries typically associated with the Fairmont name including:

• 17,000 sq. ft. Fairmont Willow Stream European-style spa
• State-of-the-art fitness facilities
• Indoor-outdoor swimout pool (you can swim from indoors to outdoors)
• 3 to 4 restaurants offering indoor and outdoor dining

• Ski concierge for lift tickets, rentals and lessons
• Gear valet - stores your ski gear, golf clubs, etc.

• Private snow front ski valet lounge

Fairmont Tamarack will be connected by sky bridge to the Village Plaza with its dining, shopping and entertainment venues.

Connected to the Fairmont Tamarack will be the 200,000 sq. ft. Village Plaza. The six-building, multi-tiered Village Plaza, which will open summer 2008, will feature a movie theatre, and 23 boutiques, shops and restaurants with an emphasis on unique business concepts. Construction on the Village Plaza (see picture below) is already well underway.

There will be three different releases or phases at the Fairmont Tamarack condo hotel offering a total of 291 units at two locations in the resort, one at the base of the mountain and one mid-mountain. They will include 222 condo hotel units and 69 private residence condos.

Currently being offered is the first phase of condo hotel units. They will be located on Belvedere Ridge, offering scenic views of Tamarack's mountain, championship golf course and Lake Cascade.

Construction on the Fairmont Tamarack will begin in June 2007 and should be complete by mid-2009. Units range in size from studios with 650 sq. ft. to two-bedrooms with 1,950 sq. ft. There are also some private condo residences available for owners not interested in participating the condo hotel program. Unit prices range from $780,000 to $2,388,889 (subject to change).
