St. Regis Resort & Residences will encompass three towers, 26 stories each, in prestigious Bal Harbour, Florida, just north of Miami Beach. Currently on the site is the Sheraton Bal Harbour. Plans are to close and implode the 50-year-old hotel in spring 2007and begin construction on the new St. Regis shortly thereafter.

The St. Regis has an intended rating of five stars. It will be an ultra-high end development right on the ocean.

There will be only 36 hotel condos, all large, luxurious one bedrooms with a den and two baths, and offering excellent north and south oceanfront views.

The remaining units will be 300 condominium residences and 219 traditional hotel rooms.

The St. Regis Resort & Residences will be owned and managed by Starwood, and will be run as a Starwood Luxury Collection property. Only about 10% of the hotels run by Starwood worldwide receive this esteemed classification.

This condo hotel will offer a wide array of amenities, including the St. Regis signature butler service, renowned concierge service, world-class Remede spa and a fine dining restaurant.

St. Regis Resort & Residences will be located right on the Atlantic Ocean. Across the street from its location are the world-famous and highly exclusive Bal Harbour Shops, which has 100 flagship stores including Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Neiman Marcus.

Construction on the St. Regis Resort & Residences is expected to be complete by late 2009 or early 2010. Prices for the condo hotel units start at approximately $1.9 million. The condominium residences start at approximately $1.8 million.
