Eight Rivers

Snowshoe Mountain,
West Virginia
If you love to ski, Snowshoe
Mountain is for you. With a summit elevation of 4,848
feet and a 1,500-foot vertical drop, this mountain
is both an exciting ski resort during the winter and
a popular summer recreation venue during the warmer
months.
Very
soon, a new residential property will rise atop Snowshoe
Mountain in West Virginia. Pocahontas County is the
Birthplace of Eight Rivers: Greenbrier, Cherry, Elk,
Gauley, Cheat, Tygart Valley, Williams and Cranberry
Rivers. It will be the final slope-side village located
near Snowshoe's 57 world-class ski slopes and a Gary
Player signature golf course.
Eight Rivers will capture visitors'
attention with its unique design. The exterior of
the building will be a unique transition from Tudor
style with shingle siding at the main entrance to
a modern corrugated metal on the far end.
The architects designed the middle
two-thirds of Eight Rivers to reflect the townhome
styles which proved so popular at Expedition Station
and The Seneca, two other Snowshoe Mountain developments.
Eight Rivers will be a four-story
building, consisting of 100 condo hotel units. Available
are studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom units,
ranging in size from 400 sq. ft. to 1,000 sq. ft.
The developer is Intrawest Corporation,
a leading builder and operator of village-centered
destination resorts across North America. The Snowshoe
Mountain Village contains shops, galleries, restaurants
and clubs, providing plenty to do off the slopes.

Condo hotel unit owners will have
an opportunity to participate in the organized rental
program. Prices range from $180,000 to $600,000. (Prices
subject to change without notice.)
