Canyon Ranch, the world's most celebrated health resort, will develop its first healthy living residential community, Canyon Ranch Living, featuring 151 condo hotel suites and 467 condominium residences, including traditional Canyon Ranch facilities and services, on the oceanfront site of the former Carillon Hotel, 6801 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach.

The resort is scheduled to open in 2007. Residents will have access to a 60,000 square-foot state-of-the-art Spa & Fitness Center, including a Canyon Ranch Health & Healing Center that will offer preventive medicine and wellness services. Neighborhood amenities will include walking and biking paths along the 750 feet of oceanfront beach common areas for play, water sports and relaxation, a Canyon Ranch Cafe that will serve gourmet food, healthy living lecture series and luxurious spa and body treatments.

The project will consist of two condominium towers featuring one, two and three bedroom condominiums as well as penthouse units. Prices will range from $400,000 to $3 million for the units, which will range in size from 760 to 2,400 square feet for the condominiums units and 720 to 966 square feet for the condo-hotel units.

The first Canyon Ranch Health Resort opened in 1979 in Tucson, Arizona. Today there are Canyon Ranch facilities in Lenox, MA (1989), at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas, NV (1999), at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Kissimmee, FL (2002). In 2004, Canyon Ranch will debut a Canyon Ranch Spa Club on board Queen Mary 2 luxury ocean liner.
